BACK TO WORK????

Here I am my first night back to work since Sunday. And everything seems like I know nothing. Things I was doing Sunday night I can't remember how to do tonight!!!! I didn't get any rest and down time in Michigan so maybe that's the problem. It's supposed to be nice on my next days off, 3 days from now, (can't wait.) I think that I will go to the lake and find a spot to just sit and mellow out by myself. I don't have any privacy at my daughter's and I need that for down time. Haven't done any stitching for the last 2 days. Just to tired to pick up a needle.
I'm reading a great book by Doris Mortman called "Rightfully Mine." It's about a woman whose husband left her with nothing and she had to reinvent herself to survive. It's a long book but a great read.
I've managed to give myself a headache starting on the right side of my neck. And no pain relievers in my purse. I have everything but the kitchen sink in there. You'd think I'd have drugs too.......LOL
For any of you who are having troubles now I hope that things get better soon.
TOMORROW IS THE DAY YOU WORRIED ABOUT YESTERDAY. And yesterday is gone and can't be changed. Tomorrow can be a new start.

About Me

My photo
MI, United States
I am an Aries born on April 1st. College educated and a Marine veteran of the Viet Nam era. Nothing spectacular to say about my life other than I have survived this long because I have a wicked sense of humor that has gotten me through hard times along with the fact that I am a strong woman. I don't give up easily. I love to cross stitch as you can see by some of my work displayed here. Reading is a favorite past time. I enjoy traveling and exploring out of the way places. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my 2 favorite boys Zander who is 5 and his brother Jr. who is 2. They are intelligent, funny and loving. And now they have a new baby sister named Izabella who, I'm sure, will educated them in the art of getting along with girls. If I had a chance to do my life over I wouldn't because I would miss out on having these 3 grandchildren to love. I hope that I can be a part of their lives for many more years to come. I plan on living life to the fullest means possible and hope I can stay healthy enough to do some of the things that I want to.
